MANAGING PARTNER

ERIK W. Ederer, MA

Erik W. Ederer is the founder and managing director of EDVENTURES Management GmbH. With this founding, he realized a long-held dream and has since consistently pursued the sustainable expansion of his investment holding and management consulting firm.

 

Erik has a strong technical understanding, which he acquired through his professional experience at renowned industrial companies such as HTP AG, AT&S AG, OMV AG, and Europten Trans Energy GmbH. He also brings many years of experience in management consulting – including at international consulting firms such as PwC (Business Recovery Services – Restructuring & Refinancing) and Deloitte (Corporate Finance Advisory). His professional focus is on restructuring and supporting company sales.

 

Over the course of his consulting career, Erik has built up comprehensive expertise in a wide variety of industries (see references), with a constant focus on companies in the manufacturing and industrial sectors.

He holds an apprenticeship as a plastics processor, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a master's degree in Financial Management and Controlling from the Vienna University of Applied Sciences and Venture Capital and Private Equity from UIC Barcelona.

  • Financial & Analytical Expertise: Extensive experience in corporate finance advisory, particularly in the areas of restructuring and M&A within international management consultancies. Strong ability to quickly analyze key company metrics and make data-driven, well-founded decisions in a short time.

 

  • Restructuring Experience: Expertise in operational restructuring, CFO support, IBRs, going concern forecasts, and liquidity and working capital management. Experienced in developing and implementing measures for financial stabilization and optimization.

 

  • Technical and Business Expertise: Extensive experience in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing/industry, financial services, and management consulting. A combination of technical understanding gained through industry experience and solid business expertise. Professional development through practical training and academic qualifications, both nationally and internationally.

 

  • Communication & Negotiation Skills: Proven skills in targeted interaction with investors, banks, suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders at all hierarchical levels, including direct communication with employees on the shop floor.

 

  • Project Management: Profound experience in leading and implementing transformation processes and operational change projects, including the introduction and management of a Project Management Office (PMO).
